HYROX Training at Horsham Fitness!

With our tailored HYROX classes, group fitness programming, and mental training strategies, we’ve helped over 60 members successfully compete in HYROX events in 2023 alone. As an official HYROX partner, we are well placed to get you fully race ready with expert support every step of the way.

Our community’s success speaks for itself! This year, 17 of our members took on the challenge at the London Olympia HYROX event in May, and we’re excited to take another 32 competitors to the London Excel event 29th Nov to 1st Dec 2024.

Why train with Horsham Fitness for HYROX?

With Horsham Fitness you’ll benefit from HYROX specific classes and expert guidance on everything from pacing your runs to perfecting your technique for each of the functional workout stations. HYROX challenges athletes to run 8 kilometres in 1km segments, each followed by a workout station – ski erg, sled push and pull, burpee broad jump, row erg, farmers carry, walking lunges and the final station of 100 wall balls. Our classes prepare you for each component, ensuring that you’re confident and well equipped to tackle the race.

HYROX Specific Classes and Programming

Our classes and training plans focus on running efficiency, functional strength, and mastering each workout station. Our HYROX programming also includes specific pacing and technique tips, so you can approach each 1km split and station confidently and efficiently.

Friday Night HYROX Sessions

Every Friday, Horsham Fitness hosts HYROX training nights where you’ll work through the race components and experience the full HYROX intensity in a supportive, high energy environment. This is where our members sharpen their skills, build endurance, and find the rhythm needed to succeed on race day.

Online Zoom Webinars

Horsham Fitness provide webinars to dive deeper into the strategies and preparation needed to succeed in the event. Our webinars cover everything from efficient rowing technique to the best mental strategies to keep you motivated and resilient.

Mental Preparation

HYROX isn’t just a physical challenge; mental endurance is key. Our coaches provide expert tips on mental strategies to help you stay focused, break through fatigue, and keep a strong mindset, especially during the tough final stations like the wall balls.
